Figured since I'm getting annoying at constantly being killed by The Butcher in Diablo 3 on Hell mode when i get him down to like 10k health, I may as well take a small break and actually write this like I said I would.

it's definitely weird having a different username on here, considering I'm still using the same account I've been using for nearly 8 years now. But it was definitely time for a change. I made this account when I was 12. I had just started up with a story that my friends and I were going to write. At this same time I got more interested in drawing, and one of these friends got me to make my account on here. Without thinking of anything else for a name, I used Shotaki (the first name of my character in the story) and Tsunami which was related to his powers. Little did I know I'd still be using this account today.

The thing is, it's a weird name for me to use now. I don't use either of those things in any other usernames or anything, so it's not like it's related to me as a whole. At the same time, I couldn't change it to any of my current usernames, since they're all already in use (by me, for other things). In a way, this works, considering I still want to keep this account apart from the rest of me, because this is more of my fanart stuff than anything. It's nothing professional, and so I don't see why I should relate it to my more professional stuff.

This new name, Parastorm, has more fo a nice feel to it, it's easily recognizable, and it's still related to me, as it's related to names I've started to use while playing games (specifically WoW and Diablo 3). I'm using the Para- prefix for most of my characters, with another part to it to relate to it in one way or the other. Some of which include Parasideous, Parastorm, Parasoul. It just seems more fitting for me to use something more related to my fandom/geekdom stuff than just some random name I forged together from a character I thought up when i was 12.

But anyways, yeah. That's my nice lengthy journal entry about why I changed my username lmfao.

now for me to get back to being butchered by The Butcher. >_>

Also, I will be changing the top part of my journal skin soon. I've just been busy playing D3
